Why organisations supported the meeting
The 2019 meeting was the 31st edition of a long running annual series. The room mixed academic scientists, engineers, government agencies and industry.
Support helped the meeting reach delegates who could not otherwise attend, strengthened the scientific programme and made room for the practical conversations that happen between sessions. Supporters could also take space at the venue and meet the international environmental health community.
The programme combined workshops, keynote lectures, parallel paper sessions and poster viewing. Its structure left deliberate space for networking, which gave supporters time with delegates beyond the exhibition floor.
