The venue
ISEE 2019 used the Beatrix Building at Jaarbeurs Utrecht, linked directly to Utrecht Central Station and within walking distance of several hotels.
The venue stood at Beatrix Building, Jaarbeursplein 6A, 3521 AL Utrecht, within the Jaarbeurs complex. For car navigation, the published address was Graadt van Roggenweg 400, which led to parking P1.
The venue held the registration desk, the session rooms and the poster areas. The Speaker Service Centre was in Room 116.
Arrival
Utrecht Central Station is next to the Beatrix Building. From the station, delegates followed the signs for Jaarbeursplein and reached the venue on foot in a few minutes. The bus station is also beside the central station.
Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is about thirty minutes from Utrecht by train or car. Utrecht also has direct rail connections to surrounding countries.
The week
- Sunday 25 August Preconference workshops and the welcome reception.
- Monday 26 August The main programme opened, with plenaries, symposia, oral sessions and posters.
- Tuesday 27 August A full day of sessions and the conference dinner.
- Wednesday 28 August The final day of the scientific programme.
